I decided I didn’t like the ticket support systems people are using. I really HATE to wait days for someone to answer me. I have a busy life and I really just want my answers faster than that.
I think I’m not alone. I decided to try something totally new in terms of support, and I created a public chat room using Skype’s software. I called my first attempt “Chris Endres Marketing Chat”, and it was designed basically to gather good people into a public atmosphere and let the brainstorming and natural benificence of social personna to take over and validate the room. Kinda like a forum but instant.
Well,.. it ended up being a complete success. And the name changed to “The Roadkill Marketers Cafe’” Not unlike the story behind Deep Purples “Smoke on the Water”, the first edition of The RKMC basically burnt down in one days worth of fiery attitudes. Up to that point, no one really kept a close reign on abberant personalities. The cost was high for that mistake.
So, the cafe’ re-opened. And it’s a great place. We had 40 people,.. most of them good marketers, who kept a 24/7 presence in the first Cafe’. Now we are working our way back up to that again. The real value is in the playful banter that happens between serious marketing topics. The place where inspiration leads to new ideas on the spot.
I just recently opened another public Skype room to support people in an online program I am building called EZ Wealth Solution. EZ Wealth is a great business model to integrate into my grand Instant Support exploratory mission experiment thing. The business itself is laid out well enough that people come in with basic orientation questions that anyone in the room can field. This room is called The EZ Wealth Solution Mastermind Group.
This means I have started a business with instant live support. Which is directly in opposition to the trend to move all automated tickets or outsourced live international (being kind there) support. I have been receiving a lot of positive feedback about the experiment as well. You get to hear from international personalities it would usually cost quite a bit to have access to as well.
Try it for yourself. Instant support is sure a huge beatstick on ticket systems. No rocket science there.
